Catholic Education Foundation of Ottawa
The Catholic Education Foundation of Ottawa (CEFO) is a registered charity whose objective is to raise funds to counter the effects of poverty on students within the English Catholic schools in the City of Ottawa. All proceeds are directed to educational programs or emergency response funds for impoverished children and their families.
Fundraising efforts include special events; in memoriam programs offered through all local funeral homes; payroll deduction via the United Way; parish collections; partnerships with profit and not-for-profit organizations; Childrens' Theatre Workshops, and, corporate sponsored Broadway musical productions, each including over 600 Ottawa Catholic School Board students of all ages.
